Last week Jennifer and her two daughters, with two helpful friends, Carol and Michael, caught a wild mother dog and her 11 puppies way out in the Ejidos. First they noticed that one of the dogs who was pregnant at Carol's feeding station was no longer carrying puppies. So we followed the mother dog and saw where she was hiding her little ones. Then they set a humane coyote trap and filled it with hotdogs, waiting for the mom to go in. Well it did not take long and they had her. After the mom dog was fairly calm, Carol climed in under the tree and pulled out 11 beautiful 2 week old puppies. The mom and pups are fine and staying at the rescue. Come and see them anytime.
